Celestial Destiny changed ten classes, not three. The patch notes bury that under war and dungeon sections, so most players only remember the class they play and the one their friend complained about.
This page is the list, with what each change does to your evening. It stays updated as tuning passes land.
The list
| Class or group | What changed | What to do about it |
|---|---|---|
| Cardinal | Better at protecting allies under pressure | Re-test group content. A protection buff that finally works is worth a party slot |
| Eva's Priest | Same protection improvement | If you parked one, log in again before you judge it |
| Shilen's Priest | Same protection improvement | Check whether your old heal priority is still the efficient one |
| Justiciar | Stronger attack skills | Damage went up without a new mechanic, so your old rotation still works |
| Inquisitor | New combat mechanic, extra strikes, Lightning Strike | Rebuild the rotation. Old guides are dead. See the Inquisitor page |
| Despot | Improved positive skill effects | Mostly a party-play gain. Test with your group, not solo |
| Voice of Fate | Improved positive skill effects | Same. Check whether the buff now stacks with what you assumed it replaced |
| Death knights | More damage, enhanced skill effects | Re-run your farming route and compare kill speed |
| Archers | More shot power and accuracy | Accuracy gains show up in PvP against evasion builds first |
| Divergent | New attacking abilities | New buttons mean a new opener. Test before you queue |
Community summaries of the same patch also list Soul Hound, Doombringer, Trickster, Dominator and Doomcryer as touched. Those changes are smaller in scope and easier to miss, so check your class in the client even if it is not in the table above.
How to re-test a reworked class
Do it in this order, because the order is what people get wrong.
- Tooltips first. Read every skill you use. Numbers in a video from last month are guesses.
- Rotation second. Two minutes on a dummy. Compare total damage over the full window, not the opening burst.
- Farming route third. Same camp, same duration, compare kill count. This is the only test that reflects your actual game.
- Gear last. Only after the first three tell you what is missing.
What a rework does to the tier list
Reworks move classes in both directions, and the movement is usually exaggerated by the community in the first month. A class that gains a mechanic looks stronger than it is because everyone is testing it. A class that gains raw damage looks weaker than it is because nobody is posting clips.
Wait two weeks, then read the tier list again. Ours carries a revision date for exactly this reason.
What comes next
The next patch is dated 21 October 2026. Tuning patches tend to touch the classes that were already near the top, so this list may grow again within a week. The October 21 page tracks it, and the Celestial Destiny overview covers the war and dungeon side of the same update.
FAQ
Did my class get nerfed?
Only three groups in this patch got a clear functional upgrade with no downside, and one class got a full rework. Nobody in the official summary was explicitly nerfed, but reworks often move power from one skill to another, which feels like a nerf to players who used the old one.
Do I need to reroll?
No. Rerolling on patch week is how people end up with two unfinished characters. Test your current class first.
Are the numbers final?
No. Reworks get a tuning pass within a month or two. Treat any number you read as a snapshot.
