Lineage 2 Essence is a group game. The fastest way to improve your account is not a guide. It is being in the right channel when someone explains the current patch.

The channels worth your time

A warning that saves time: Discord is where information arrives first and where it is wrong most often. When a claim matters, spend two minutes in the knowledge base before you spend resources on it.

How to use Discord without losing a week

1. Join a server, read the rules channel, find a recruitment or beginner channel.
2. Post one clear question with your level, class and server. Vague questions get vague answers.
3. Find a clan that raids in your timezone. A timezone mismatch is the top reason players quit a clan.
4. Mute everything except the two or three channels you actually need.

Clan recruitment on a new server

On a fresh server, clans recruit early and thresholds are low. That is the best window in the server's life for a new player to land in a serious clan. Later, those clans will only take geared applicants. Planning to play at all seriously? Apply in the first two weeks.

What to ignore

• Anyone selling currency, accounts or "boosting". All violations, all bannable.
• Any tool or patch distributed through chat or a video description.
• Tier-list arguments. Entertainment, not information.
